ARTIST STATEMENT

My artwork honors Staff Sgt. Eden Alon Levy, a leader in the Home Front Command, recognizing her courage and unwavering commitment to her nation. Her heritage as a female warrior, combined with her passion for dance and life, renders her story both touching and complex.

Simultaneously, the tribute extends to Eden Golan and the passion and depth of her song 'Hurricane', previously titled "October Rain." The song encapsulates the emotional turmoil and, against all odds, the hope present in the events surrounding October 7th.

The application of color and imagery mirrors these persistent feelings of chaos, suffering, hopelessness, optimism, and the longing for an improved future, encouraging the viewer to connect with the intricate emotions expressed.
